Exercise 6 of the Test

( 6 ) HALF CIRCLE

Exercise 6 Diagram

Once you have completed the "Figure of Eight" you will be asked to ride round the other end of the yard.

This is marked out with cones. There is a complete (red) outer half circle which is 38 metres in diameter.

The inner circle is marked with an inner 3 cone "lead in" and "lead out" on a 30 metre diameter.

You will be going round this "circuit bend" three times, this first time has no speed requirement and lets you get the feel of things.
As you exit the cones you need to be as close as you can manage to the inner (blue) cones.

The reason for this is that it gives you a better line through the guide cones as you exit towards the "Controlled Stop" braking box.
